Ritot: Meet the World’s First Projection Watch

We have been seeing a lot of smart-watches being released in the recent years but what about a projection watch? Meet Ritot, the world’s first projection watch. It doesn't have a screen. The Ritot is a band which will project the time on the back of your hand.

Smart-watches are not yet getting its popularity as it was meant to. But the Ritot is sure to become a huge success. Just a week after its launch on Indiegogo, it scores over $300,000! The Ritot team, inspired by future technologies, wanted to create a wrist watch that would be technically innovative as well as fashionable. Even though there are different models of wristwatches, they all work on the same principle. And so they gave life to the Ritot projection watch.

Its design is pretty unique. It has namely two designs- the Sport and Bracelet models. The bracelet version is made up of aluminium coated with original leather and is available in three colors- white, black and completely black. The sport model is also quite impressive, has a rubber and plastic casing, a rubber strap and is available in 2 colors- white and black. Also the projection can be set to 20 different colors.  And the unisex design makes it usable for both men and women. It is completely safe to be used on your skin.

Just shake or tap the touch-sensitive button to project the time on the back of your hands. A cool watch like this just projects time? No way! It also gives out notifications of incoming calls, text messages, alerts, Facebook, Twitter, other apps, etc. and you can also get these notification in vibrate mode too. All notifications are easy to setup as well as turn on and off. And the Ritot has a very good battery life(1 month in stand-by mode and 150 hours in projection mode).

The Ritot uses a pico projector to project a dial with high quality graphics and brightness. It is charged on a base that comes along with the watch. The base gives you access to charge using wireless technology, to choose 24 hour or 12 hour mode for your watch, to change the position of projection. It can also be used to set up an alarm just like an alarm clock.

This is quite an impressive invention and it has put good use to projection technology. If you wish to get a Ritot timepiece for yourself go to this link.
