Review : iPhone 5S

Let us take a look at the world’s best iPhone or maybe even the world’s best smartphone yet. The iPhone 5S is the best and powerful iPhone yet and definitely an excellent smartphone. Apple really did well with the 5S.

The screen hasn’t got any bigger, cutting off from the usual trend of the screen size always getting bigger. The screen size (4.0 inches) and design are same as that of the iPhone 5. But looks can be deceiving. Even though the appearance has not changed much, Apple has done really good with the software and hardware. The 640 x 1136 pixels display produces a clear, rich and very colorful and very apt for showing off its software (iOS 7).
The iPhone 5S runs on the new iOS 7 which is a simple operating system with a really colorful design. Along with the 64-bit A7 chipset, 1 GB RAM (DDR3) and a dual core processor clocked in at 1.3 GHz Cyclone (ARM v8-based), the iPhone 5S is faster than ever. WLAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot), Bluetooth (v4.0 with A2DP) is available in the iPhone 5S. The 5S is also equipped with motion sensors which are really an amazing feature. This way the iPhone knows whether you are driving or walking. It knows if you have not taken it in your hands for some time and so on. Even though the iPhone 5S does not allow extending its storage capacity, devices with 16, 32, 64 GB are available.

Another amazing feature of the iPhone 5S is its Touch ID system Apple introduced. This allows you to unlock your iPhone with your fingerprints rather than typing a password or PIN. This is a really cool and easy way of unlocking phone and is way better than showing awkward gestures or typing PINs. This technology will find its way to other phones really soon.

The cameras on the 5S are not top notch but takes good quality pictures all the same. The rear camera is an 8MP camera (3264 x 2448 pixels, auto focus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash) takes excellent shots with sharper details even at good lighting and it just gets better at low lighting. The %s also has a front camera which is a 1.2 MP camera (720p at 30 fps, face detection, Face Time over) with improvised video call experiencing and selfies made easy.
And not to mention, the battery life is also appreciable. It is packed with a Non-removable Li-Po 1560 mAh battery which on stand-by lasts up to 250 hours on 2G and 250 hours on3G. It gives talk time up to 10 hours on 2G and up to 10 hours on 3G and allows you to listen to music up to 40 hours.

The iPhone 5S is an amazing smartphone. Externally it has not changed much but internally it is a smartphone at a whole new level. If Apple has done so much with the 5S, what will the iPhone 6 be like!.
