Transform your LG G2 to LG G3

    Want to transform your LG G2 to G3? With this simple tip you can make your G2 look like the new LG G3. Before we begin, let me ask you to exercise extreme caution. Follow the procedure with at most attention and care. You are performing these steps under your own risk. Transforming your LG G2 to G3 will give your phone the ability to shoot videos in 4k resolution.

    And please note that this tip will work only for the LG G2 D802 version. Also, your device should be rooted.

Following is the procedure for transforming your G2 to G3 (proceed with extreme caution):

1. First of all, your phone should be rooted. So root your phone if it is not rooted.

2. Perform a full backup of your phone. This method will completely erase your phone data, so if you do not want to lose your data, backup your phone.

3. Then you will have to install the LG G3 Optimus firmware on your G2. Download               OptimusG3 V1.0 from this link.

4. Download KK_Baseband_D802.zip from this link

5. Move the two zip files to your phone’s root folder. You don’t have to go deep and place them in a sub folder.

6. Restart your LG G2. Now go to Recovery mode. You can access recovery mode by pressing the power button and the volume down button at the same time and let go when the logo is seen. And press the buttons again immediately until phone is started in Recovery mode.   

7. Perform a complete wipe of data, cache, and system.

8. Install the ROM file OptimusG3 V1.0 and the baseband file through the “install zip” option.

    And Hey presto! Your LG G2 is not a G2 anymore. Your phone has now the features of the LG G3. I hope you found this tip very helpful.
