Mighty Text

    Mighty Text is an app that you can install in your Android phone so as to start sending messages from your computer. You can then go to the Mighty Text website, sign in and start sending messages from any computer whether it is a Mac or a windows computer. There are no extra charges except your cellular carrier charges (if any).

iPhone- Mac

    You can send messages from your Mac if you have an iPhone. This works for iPhone and Mac combinations and not iPhone and Windows. You need to have the Text Message Forwarding to your Mac feature enabled. You can enable this by going to Settings and then Messages. If you the same ID logged into both your iPhone and Mac, you can start sending messages from the Messages app in your Mac. Charges may apply according to your cellular carrier.

Skype

    You can also send text messages from the Skype desktop app but this service requires payment. You have to pay for sending messages. You get credit if you pay and you’ll be able to send text messages until the credit runs out. The Skype desktop app will not sync with the phone. But you can include Sender ID so that people receiving the messages can directly contact you in your phone. But the messages appearing in your phone won’t be displayed in the desktop.
