How to Add New Authors or Admins in Blogger

 

    At some point you will start to feel that you cannot manage your blog on your own. You start looking for suitable candidates. In Blogger, you are allowed to add new Authors or Admins so that you do not have to do the entire job. You can assign duties to different personnel. This way, you can relax and do your work and the work will also be done efficiently. So, how do you add new Authors or Admins to manage your blog?     The benefit of adding new Authors or Admins is that they can post articles from their own computers and manage the blog as well. This means that it is not necessary that you yourself should post the articles or make necessary changes to your blog. Now let’s learn how to do this.

    First of all, you need to login to your Blogger account. Then select the blog you want to add new Authors or Admins. On the left side of the dashboard, select Settings and then Basic. On the right pane, find the Permissions section. Here you will see yourself listed as an Admin. Below this, you will be able to see an add authors option. All you have to do now is to type in the Gmail address of the person you want to add as an Author or an Admin. Then click on the Invite authors button.

    After the authors have accepted the invitation, they can log in to their blogger accounts and start making posts. If you want do promote someone to the post of Admin, the person has to first accept the invitation and become an author. You can promote them from the Permissions section (as mentioned before).
