You can choose from a variety of products without being pressurized into buying anything, also compare prices of goods, and make the purchase from your home.     You can search the product you wish to buy with the help of search engines. Search engines will display a number of websites that sells the same product. There are also search engines specificall used for shopping like shopping.com.

    You can head directly to the manufacturer’s site and buy their products. For example, if you wish to buy DELL laptop, you can head directly to their website to buy the laptop you wish to buy.

3. Use a secure connection

    Make sure that the Firewall is on. Also avoid using public network when shopping online. And also if you are on a wireless network, make sure that the connection is encrypted.

4. Make sure the merchant is legit

    Make sure that the site you do online shopping is safe. If you know the store, then you can just walk into their local store and report any complaints if you have any problem shopping from their website. If you do not know the store, make sure that the site is legit by reading reviews from other websites.

5. Avoid too good to be true offers

   If a website offers a lot at a very low price, take precaution. The product offered might be a cheap substitute. Be cautious of such e-stores as well. Do not be hasty and buy goods with such offers immediately. You could do a little background checking before you buy such products.

6. Make sure the website is secure

    Check if the web address on the page begins with “https” and not “http”. The "s" in https tells that the information is being encrypted. So before entering your details, make sure that it is “https” and not "http".

7. Shipping Fees

    Some websites do not include shipping fees along with the product’s price. So make sure that the shipping price is not too high because if the shipping fee is high then you will have to pay more than you what you should have paid.
