The Facebook Graph search has finally reached mobile devices. Earlier this week, Facebook announced that the Facebook iOS app will be getting the graph search before its Android counterpart. The graph search was introduced for desktop computers two years before and finally after two years, the graph search has reached mobile devices.
The graph search enables you to search anything about your
friends by typing proper keyword into the search box. For example, if you type
“friends who like TipsOnLive”, the results will show all your friends who like
TipsOnLive. Type “my friends who are married” and presto, all your friends who are
married are shown! You can also search for something else like “Barack Obama”
and all the latest news concerning him will be shown. The graph is highly
complex and difficult and to get the right information from the Facebook
databases is tough work.
Facebook might try to make a business out of this by making
use of keywords like “hotels” or “bank” or something else so that if any hotels
or banks have made a deal with them may show up in the results. This is a very
good way to increase revenue.
The Facebook graph
search is a very valuable tool and has helped everyone in different ways. The introduction
of graph search in mobile phones will surely make Facebooking through mobile
devices more interesting and fun.
