Select Show Advanced Option and change Proxy Settings to manual. In the options that follow, change the Proxy Hostname to localhost and Proxy Port to the number AdBlock Plus has given you.
Now you can browse through websites without having to see any annoying apps. Using an ad blocker like AdBlock Plus along with a browser like Chrome in your Android phone will make all the websites completely ad free and you will also be able to save a lot of data and hence more browsing time for you

It is a well Known fact that advertisers are constantly looking for any way to draw attention to their products. Although typical banner ads are still used heavily, they now seem to be almost invisible to the average web surfer. Pop ups and other intrusive types of advertising are now used to thrust an ad in your face that you have no choice but to at least acknowledge. Regardless of the nature of the ad, pop ups are a nuisance.
