Copy Damaged or Corrupted files using Roadkil’s Unstoppable Copier

CDs, DVDs, hard disks and other storage media play a major role in storing data. They are used to store movies, music, documents, files, and other valuable information. These disks tend to get damaged with passage of time. The files can also get corrupted by agents like viruses. Once a storage disk gets damaged or the file gets corrupted it will be very hard to access the contents of the disk and the file. If you don’t take proper care of your disk, you too will face this problem one day.

Roadkil’s Unstoppable Copier software will help you to copy contents from damaged or corrupted files from storage devices. And if you don’t have a backup of the files in your damaged hard drive or disks, copying is the only solution available. But copying normally won’t do the trick. This is where Roadkil’s Unstoppable Copier comes into play.
This very useful software works in two mode, namely Copy mode, and Batch mode. Let us see what each mode does.

Also Read:
As the name reveals Copy mode, the first tab in the window, is used to copy damaged files from hard disk drives, CDs or DVDs or other storage devices. It copies a file from a source directory to a target directory. It will try to copy files from disks that have problems like bad sectors or scratches or that shows error when reading a file. The software tries to get all the pieces of the damage file and finally put them all together. But it may not be possible for the software to copy all the files; this depends on how much the disk is damaged.

The second mode is the Batch mode, which is the second tab from the left in the window. This mode can be said to act like a backup system. In Batch mode, multiple source and target directories can be selected for faster processing of the files.
You can change the settings of the software from the Settings tab. Here you can select many option like Over-write existing files, Include sub-folders, etc. and also switch from best recovery mode to faster recovery modes, you can also set the number of retries, etc.

This is free software and you do not have to pay single penny for it. Roadkil has done a very fine job with this software. Even though there is a lot of copier software like the Unstoppable Copier, none seem to outsmart it. So if you have a damaged disk, get your files back with Roadkil’s Unstoppable Copier.
