Review: Nokia Lumia 520

Review: Nokia Lumia 520

The Nokia Lumia 520 was one of the best windows phone by Nokia and still is. Considering its performance and the cost, this phone is one of the best phones released during the year 2013.
The Lumia 520 is available in five different colors: yellow, red, black, white and cyan. If you get enough of one color you can always change the cover to one of the other colors. Even though the body is plastic, for a phone this cheap with excellent performance and features, it is quite reasonable.

It weighs 124g and has a scratch resistant glass. The touchscreen is smooth and doesn’t lag. And it support 3G network, GPRS, EDGE, W-LAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot), Bluetooth v4. And it has an internal memory of 8 GB which is quite impressive considering a Nokia phone of such a price.
It doesn’t have a secondary camera though but has a 5MP primary camera which is pretty good. Its OS which has windows * installed as stock can be upgraded to WP8 Black. Microsoft Office also comes along with the OS.
The Lumia 520 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor fitted inside which runs at 1 GHz and a 512MB of RAM which is sufficient for providing the required speed for the phone. The phone has many inbuilt apps which the previously released Lumia phones lacked. And at an unbelieving price, Nokia has done a very good job with the phone. The battery which is a 1430 mAh batter, it can handle 360 hours of standby time over 3G, a good talk-time (14.8 hrs. over 3G and 9.6 hrs. over 2G), etc.
The Nokia Lumia 520 is a great phone, which is user friendly as well as cost friendly. It was an immediate hit and is still in great demand.
