Google to drop Nexus?

    According to a report by The Information  Google is planning to stop its Nexus series, the best android devices out there. One could say that the Nexus phones provided the best Android experience ever. 

 

   The Nexus is to be replaced by a new program called the “Silver” which will ensure manufacturers and wireless carriers good payment for selling top notch devices specified by Google. The devices will have a limited number of non-Google apps and the users will be able to easy uninstall them.

   This Silver program will make them compete better with the top smartphone manufacturers Apple and Samsung. Dropping the Nexus which is a good contribution from Google, for high end devices will take the Android experience to a whole new level. It will be really interesting how the Silver project will affect the Android world.
