    The new MacBook Air 13-inch ver.2014 has the same awesome design and looks as its predecessors. They haven’t changed the design for several years but no other laptop has yet challenged the superior design of the MacBook Air. The chassis is made of aluminum like its previous versions. The MacBook is very portable indeed as it weighs just below 3 pounds (2.9 approx.).

    The retina display is a 1440 x 900-pixel 13-inch panel which provides a bright, rich and clear display and has decent color accuracy (provides good movie watching experience). The MacBook Air 13-inch houses USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt ports as well as an SD card slot which is at the right side of the MacBook. On the left there is another USB 3.0 port, adapter for power, a headphone jack and 2 mic lines and a 720p webcam as well providing good video conferencing experience.

    Using the keyboard and the glass-surface track-pad of the Air is a breeze. The well-spaced keyboard has shortcut keys on the top for volume and media control, brightness control, keyboard backlight control, etc. The battery life is also to be highly appreciated. The Apple promises 12 hours of wireless web surfing on its fully charged 54-watt-hour battery which is more than sufficient.

    The MacBook Air 13 inch is one of the top notch laptops in the world. With a good Operating System, high performance, and other excellent features like its battery life and the user friendly keyboard and touch pad is more than one could ask for. If you are planning to get a 13-inch MacBook Air, your money won’t be wasted.
