How To Remove MacKeeper from Mac

    Many have found MacKeeper useful while some haven’t. Uninstalling MacKeeper from your Mac is a bit tricky for some people. Here is how you completely remove MacKeeper from your Mac.

1.  Firstly, you have to quit MacKeeper to uninstall it. So open the MacKeeper app from the Application folder and Quit it.  

2.  After quitting the app, you have to drag the MacKeeper app to the trash so that you can uninstall it. 

3. You will be asked to enter your password. After the password is entered, the app will be moved to the trash and a new window will pop up asking you whether you want to remove the rest of the app and its components. 

4.  Just click on Uninstall MacKeeper. All the files and processes related to MacKeeper will be removed.

    After the uninstallation is complete, a MacKeeper Helper folder will still remain. You can manually delete this folder. You can find this folder from this location: userfolder/Library/Application Support. Delete the MacKeeper Helper folder, empty the trash, and restart your Mac.  You Mac is now free of MacKeeper.
